Pianist Sam Prather, percussionist Nasar Abadey, bassist Herman Burney, and saxophonist Marshall Keys will discuss three topics: 1) their impressions of Strayhorn as a composer; 2) the influence, if any, of his work on theirs; 3) their individual composing process / “how does it work”.
